ASCINA Canada

There are currently three groups that make up ASCINA Canada, the largest being in Toronto. Other groups also exist in Montreal and Vancouver. Please contact the coordinators, if you have questions about ASCINA or about other issues and we will try to be of help:

 

Toronto: Kosta Cvijovic

Vancouver: Julius Halaschek-Wiener (Chapter Pacific-North; replace the [at] with @ in the email address.

Montreal: Gregor Kos

 

If you live outside the mentioned cities or BC, please contact the Canada chapter coordinator Gregor Kos for further information.

Mission Statement

  • Create a network of Austrian scientists in Canada
  • Locate the most Northern Austrian in North America
  • Facilitate communication between Austrian scientists within Canada, the United States and Europe
  • Promote Canadian Universities to Austrian students

Montreal

The group in Montreal meets irregularly in a Montreal Bistro in the Plateau area, which is easily accessible from Metro station "Mont-Royal" on the Orange Line. Exceptions are guided tours and visits.
