Member Bio:

I am a scientist and educator with a backgound in Zoology (MSc, University of Innsbruck, Austria) and Environmetal Biology and Toxicology (University of Guelph, ON, Canada). My research interests lie in the interactions amongst biota, their interactions with their abiotic environment, and how this environment is shaped by local and global drivers, or disturbed by stressors (e.g., climate change, pollution, or land use changes). This requires me to think and work collaboratively across multiple disciplines, a challenge which I greatly enjoy. I have worked on research projects in the Canadian Arctic for 10+ years and more recently also on projects in British Columbia, where I currently live with my family.
